Rocío Lara

She began her career as a writer on the children’s radio show “La hora de los duendes” on Radio Fórmula, where in addition to writing she gave voice to the characters. She started on television with the show “Plaza Sésamo” (Latin American version of Sesame Street) in which she has written since 1995 to date, in addition to interpreting since then the character of “Lola” (muppet).

At Nickelodeon, she has participated in several productions with different positions: “Skimo”, scriptwriter for 3 seasons. “11-11, En mi cuadra nada cuadra”, script supervisor. “Yo soy Franky”, script supervisor for 3 seasons. “Vikki RPM”, head writer. “Noobees”, season 1, head writer. “Noobees”, season 2, script supervisor. For Cartoon Network she served as a scriptwriter for “La CQ” for 4 seasons.

Since 2012 she has participated as a scriptwriter in a series of Televisa’s productions: “Miss XV”, “Muchacha italiana viene a casarse”, “Amo despertar contigo”, and “LIKE, La leyenda”.

For theater, she wrote the play “La Elegida” that was part of the Fantasy season at Micro Teatro México where, in addition, she directed and acted.

Currently, for podcast format, she writes children’s stories for Discovery Kids, coordinates the writing of the series “Cuentos Increíbles”, and develops scripts and content for Sonoro Media.
