Alejandro Aimetta
Is an Argentinian producer, writer and director. He studied artistic photography and advertising at La Metro, School of Design and Audiovisual Communication.
More than 10 years ago, Alejandro left his country to settle in Mexico City, where he studied cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, Direction with Luis Mandoki and Screenwriting with Guillermo Arriaga.
At the beginning he worked as a copywriter, creative and art director and after that he focused on developing audiovisual content and directing series for television and virtual platforms in the production company BTF Media.
During the last 10 years he has directed both documentaries and biographical series in countries such as Spain, Italy, Argentina and Mexico. Some of them are: "Hasta que te conocí" (Disney Media, TNT and Telemundo. 2016), nominated as best international series at the Emmy International Awards; "Su nombre era Dolores" (Univision and Tv Azteca. 2017), nominated as best series at the Platino Awards; "El Cesar" (Space and ESPN. 2018), nominated for best drama series by the Mtv Movie & Amp; TV Award; "El secreto de Selena'' (TNT. 2019), being nominated for best director by the Product Tv Awards; and "Maradona, sueño bendito" (Amazon Prime Video, 2021).
