His debut feature FERAL (2018) is a religious horror thriller that was screened at fifty festivals and won the FIPRESCI Prize and Best Director at the RIFF Oslo. His first documentary work TEOREMA DE TIEMPO (2022), winner at the Guanajuato and Monterrey festivals and recently won the award for Best Documentary Feature at the 2023 Ariel Awards, uses splendid found family footage to narrate the lights and shadows of a migrant family during the Mexico of the century. He is the author of the book of stories LA ZARZA ARDIENTE (Atrasalante, 2017), a text that won the Manuel José Othón Literature Prize, which was written under the gaze of Vicente Leñero through his literary workshop. She is currently working on PRECIOSÍSIMA SANGRE a horror thriller that tells the story of demonic possession inside an 18th-century female convent, as well as LA PRIMAVERA DE LOS ANACORETAS an archival documentary that reconstructs the psychoanalytic experience that occurred within a Benedictine monastery in Cuernavaca during the 1960s.
