Manya Loría has a degree in Performing Arts (UAQ) and a Master in Dramaturgy (UNA, Buenos Aires). As a playwright she has twelve works premiered in Mexico and Argentina. She was a scholarship recipient from the Foundation for Mexican Letters in the area of ​​Dramaturgy in the 2018-2019 generation. She was selected in 2020 by FONCA in conjunction with CALQ, to carry out a creation residency at “Le Cube”, in Montreal. In 2021 his book “Cannon Fodder” and in 2022 his novel “El Edén, I.A.P”. They were approved favorably by the Querétaro Editorial Fund for publication.
In 2022 she was selected to be part of the International Playwriting Program, UNAM Theater, Royal Court and Bergman Chair. In 2023 she won honorable mention in the Dolores Castro national award, in the area of ​​Dramaturgy, with her work PAREIDOLA. She is currently a screenwriter, she was the writer of BELASCORÁN for Netflix, she recently finished developing a series for La Corriente del Golfo and a feature film for Dynamo. Manya is currently collaborating with Metamorphina Teatro and directs the company LOS IMPRODUCTIVOS.
