Scriptwriter and cinematographic cultural promoter. Throughout his career she has directed or formed part of the coordination advisory and programming teams of several film festivals. Between 2006 and 2012, she was General Director of the Institute Mexican of Cinematography. She has participated as a tutor in the Development Course of Ibero American Film Projects organized by Ibermedia, the Carolina Foundation and SGAE; as well as in the NOKA Mentoring Project, of CineEuskadi, and the Emergente CineLab in Madrid.

Since 2017 she coordinates the Feature Film Script Writing Lab organized by jointly the Sundace Institute and the Morelia Film Festival , and is in charge of the Forum of Indigenous Peoples of the same Festival.

She wrote the feature film “En medio de la nada” (Hugo Rodríguez, 1992), De la calle; (Gerardo Tort, 2001), a film for which he obtained numerous acknowledgements.

Likewise, she co- wrote the script for the film La última noche (Alejandro Gamboa 2005), Round Trip (Gerardo Tort 2009) and ¿Alguien ha visto a Lupita? (Gonzalo Justiniano 2012); Nahui (Gerardo Tort 2009); and the TV series; One hundred years with Juan Rulfo (Juan Carlos Rulfo, 2017).

In addition to having written some short films , she was a scriptwriter and producer of the documentary feature film; The guerrilla and hope: Lucio Cabañas (Gerardo Tort 2005) and wrote the documentaries “ Los Murmullos del Silencio” and “Lopon”. She recently finished writing a documentary for the production company Animal of Light. She is a member of the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Science (AMAAC); The Academy Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) and Tin Audiovisual and Cinematographic Writers Mexico.
