Nadia Ayala Tabachnik

New Voices

Born in Mexico in 1978 to Argentine parents. She lived her first six years in Mexico and moved to Argentina where she lived for 17 years, completing all her studies there. She graduated from the National University of Cinema and Television of Córdoba. Nadia has lived in Mexico since 2001, where she has worked as an assistant director for twenty years with a wide variety of directors. She is currently working on his own projects, both feature films and short films, which she writes and directs.

Within his filmography is: ASOLEADAS Short Film (2020) Winner of the Ariel 2021 for best fiction short film. PROPIEDAD PRIVADA Short Film (2019) Both short films have been in the Official Selection at festivals around the world, winning awards and special mentions. DESARRAIGO Feature Film (In pre-production).

During the end of 2023, she filmed her first series as a director for the production company Traziende, the series is in the post-production process and she recently served as second unit director for an upcoming Netflix series.
