Aura García Junco

Author of “Anticitera, artefacto dentado” (FETA, Booket, 2018), “Mar de piedra” (Seix Barral, to be published in 2022) and the non-fiction book “El día que aprendí que no sé amar” (Seix Barral, 2020). She has been a scholar at the Foundation for Mexican Letters (2016) and the FONCA Young Creators program (2014, 2017, and 2021). In 2021 she was chosen by a panel of judges for inclusion in Granta’s second Best Young Spanish-Language Novelists issue.

Since 2020, Aura has worked as a screenwriter. Some of the projects she’s worked on include: “Belascoarán” (Netflix) and “Pinches Momias” (Univisión-Televisa). Currently, she is co-writing a movie with film director Kyzza Terrazas.
