Film director and screenwriter, PhD in Art History, she graduated in 2002 in Hispanic Philology from the University of Zaragoza. She completed the Master's Degree in Writing for Film and Television at the UAB (2003). She enjoyed the prestigious FPU Scholarship (University Teacher Training) from the Ministry of Education, working as a researcher and professor in the area of Film Studies and other Audiovisual Media in the Department of Art History at the University of Zaragoza. In addition, she trained in film directing at the Graduate of the Department of Film and TV of the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (2006 and 2007). He also studied a Master's degree in screenwriting and literary theory at UCLA (2008 and 2009), the main film training center in Los Angeles.

In March 2012 he released his first feature film, "De tu ventana a la mía", produced by Amapola Films, Oria Films and Zentropa Spain, starring Maribel Verdú, reaped numerous national and international awards, and a great commercial tour. In December 2015 he released "La novia", a free adaptation of the play Bodas de Sangre, by Federico García Lorca, produced by Get in the Picture Productions (Spain), Cinecromatix (Germany) and Mantar Films (Turkey). To date the film has been nominated and awarded extensively at the 2016 Goya Awards, 2016 Feroz Awards, 2016 CEC Awards, 2016 Paramount Channel Awards among others.

She is currently developing her new film projects: "Barbazul", based on the French folk tale collected by Perrault, in an international production led by Morena Films, and "El arte de la entrevista", script written in collaboration with Juan Mayorga , author of the play on which the project is based.

In addition to her work as a director, she has developed an extensive academic career linked to teaching and research. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of CIMA (Assembly of Spanish Women Filmmakers) and Vice-President and founding member of EWA (European Women Audiovisual).
